Herbaceous Border

Our double Herbaceous Border runs along a south facing stone wall in our upper arboretum. At 90 metres long it makes an impressive display of summer colour and features a wide range of herbaceous perennials as well as some more unusual annuals and semi hardy specimens.
An 80 metre long rose pergola has recently been constructed to span the path through the border, and has been planted with the roses City of York (white) and Francoise Juranville (Pink) and should be an exceptional feature in years to come.
